Healum as a Discovery member of Genomics England was invited to the 4th Discovery forum on November 8, 2018 in London.
Genomics England rapidly approaching the sequencing of 100,000th genome by marking the completion of the ‘first phase’, Joanne Hackett, Chief Commercial Officer of Genomics England kickstarted the morning with a round of introductions of the speakers for the day.
GeCIP (Genomics England Clinical Interpretation Partnership) – an initiative by Genomics England to bring together researchers from both academia and the NHS to analyse the data that results in better clinical understanding and improved patient outcomes.
The concept of genotype and phenotype data being used in analytics for improved patient outcome was discussed throughout the conference.
Julie Bartlett – a patient participant at the conference was quite interested with Healum’s work surrounding the personalised self-management, and wanted Healum to speak to their participant panel later in the year.
Healum along with the rest of the healthcare industry eagerly awaits Genomics England to reach 100,000 genome sequences soon enough
